Since the first settlers arrived in 1881, Palmwoods has evolved into a quiet, relaxed, rural community nestled in the beautiful hinterland of the Sunshine Coast close to Nambour, Woombye, Chevallum, Eudlo &
Montville.
Palmwoods has a very active & committed local community with many clubs, organisations & sporting clubs to choose from. It’s dedicated citizens through their passion & community spirit have guided the
growth of this quaint, boutique hinterland town, preserving many links to the past, while ensuring a very bright future. A neighbourly, friendly railway town, Palmwoods is visually interesting with the Palmwoods Memorial Hall as its
centrepiece & is a gateway to the Blackall Range hinterland towns of Montville, Mapleton & Maleny.
