Alexandra Headland, known by the locals as 'Alex', has a relaxed, laid-back holiday atmosphere complimenting its rolling surf & inviting beaches. Adjoining Mooloolaba, Buderim & Maroochydore, Alexandra Headland's main attraction is its magnificent coastal beach frontage & scenic headland. The beach has a safe swimming area patrolled by Alex Surf Club lifesavers. On any day, visitors can enjoy watching the surfers, or better yet join them.

There are a number of places to sign up for surf lessons & rent boards. For skaters & bikers, there is an excellent skate park right alongside the beach. Picnic & BBQ facilities are in abundance, so why not “throw a prawn on the barbie” with family & friends. Alexandra Headland has maintained its small seaside town charm, yet it’s only minutes away from major Sunshine Coast shopping centres & attractions.
